Summer monsters

The MACTO Research Institute has released new findings on summertime monsters.

It has been our experience that as of June 20, 2012, the following monster species have begun appearing en mass in the summer months - all have proven to be vanquished by MACTO Monstercide.

Pixiefargulatas
One of the smallest of all the home-dwelling monsters, Pixiefargs, as they are known, are harmless. Sometimes mistaken for gremlins, their mischievous ways cause much havoc in children's bedrooms. Pixiefargs like to steal socks and toys, but prefer socks. They usually only take one sock when a pair is present, the reason is a mystery to scientists worldwide.
Attracted to: White socks laying on the floor, toys laying on the floor.
Repelled by: Light and water. Lavender is deadly to them.

Nobecutorus
"Nobbies" like to leave doors open. They don't actually like to go through doorways, and once a Nobbie has found a place to live, they tend to stay there. Nobbies enjoy opening doors and nothing more.
Attracted to: Door knobs.
Repelled by: Nobbies hate light. Lights on in closets prevent them from doing anything at all. Lavender is deadly to Nobbies.

Mognofaygulas
Nicknamed "Moggies," these creatures are similar to Pixiefargs in their love of sock-thievery. While Moggies prefer non-white socks, they generally will take any sock they can find on the floor. Moggies tend to dwell in closets because they love the smell of shoes. Moggies are harmless, and are rarely seen by humans.
Attracted to: Non-white socks laying on the floor.
Repelled by: Light and water. Lavender is deadly to them.
